late winter reset
February 21
three zooms (10-11AM, 3-4PM, 8-8:40PM)
plus all day, just for you, as you create it
$11-111 suggested exchange
This offering is for writers, artists, activists, scholars, teachers, and anyone wanting to center reflection, creativity, exploration, rest and nourishment for a day, so that you can move forward into spring grounded, clearer, and more energized. We’ll be committing to a Saturday at home (or somewhere peaceful), free of obligations, when we’ll center creative and somatic practices, and collective and individual care.
Participants will receive a welcome email with details for setting yourself up well. We’ll meet together three times, via Zoom, with gentle guidance for holding space for yourself between meetings.

I offer resets by donation, because I want these days to be fully accessible. Here’s a suggested sliding scale:
$<11-40=pressured resources
$41-70=balanced resources
$71-111+=abundant resources -
mid-morning session: grounding and flowing in purpose — we’ll do a somatic centering practice, then explore our roles in this moment in time, grounding in purpose. Loose, generative writing prompts will initiate flow for the day.
late-afternoon session: creative visioning — we’ll explore writing and somatic practices to help clarify your next steps. There will be time for sharing and strategizing for what wants to happen next.
late-evening session: reflection & meditation — Our final gathering will process the day’s discoveries through reflective writing prompts, a short reading, and silent seated meditation, preparing you for restful sleep and dreams.
-
This day is for you to rest, recharge, realign to purpose, create, reflect, and envision how you want to move forward through this spring and forwards. How you spend the day towards these intentions is entirely up to you. The welcome email will contain suggestions that you can follow, if you’d like.
Perhaps, the early morning is for stretching, writing a little, and eating a simple and nourishing breakfast.
For late morning and early afternoon, you might continue to flow from our writing prompts into your creative practice. This is a good time to work on projects that you want to start or reinvigorate, time to read or watch something inspiring, to rest and/or to move your body as desired. And of course, to eat.
After our second session, you might continue from our visioning practices and further flesh out your next steps by journaling or time-lining. You might explore works by other artists, rest, read, work in a medium or genre outside your comfort zone, and have a nourishing meal.
After our final session, which will include reflection and meditation, try staying screen-free as you wind down towards sleep and dreams.

Clear your schedule for the day. Anything that can wait should wait. This day is for you to slow down and go deep.
Before Saturday, gather groceries that make you feel good, so you can prepare simple, nourishing meals for yourself. Or plan to order in, or whatever else you want to do to eat well! Take some time in advance to plan meals that work for you, so you don’t have to think too much about it on Saturday.
Set up/clear your space for support.
More details will be shared in the welcome email sent ahead of the day.
